CHAPTER 1
General Provisions
- Supremacy Of Constitution: The Constitution is supreme and its provisions shall have binding force on the authorities and persons throughout the Freshmen Community, FUTO. The Freshmen Community shall not be governed, nor shall any persons or group of persons take control of the Community, except in accordance with the provisions of this constitution. If any other law is inconsistent with the provisions of this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail, and that other law shall, to the extent of the inconsistency; be void.
- The Freshmen Community, FUTO: This Community was birthed lately 2017.It was founded by a group of organised people led by Comr. Minister Tobechukwu Nwagboso (Mr. Fresh) of FUTO. It is called a Community in that, it is made up of a wide range/group of well organised newly admitted students (Freshmen) of the Federal University Of Technology, Owerri.(FUTO) assisted by an organised set of old time students regarded as Elders who already passed their levels, not just that but also gathered necessary knowledge in regards to their registration procedures, what ought to be done, how it ought to be done, and when it ought to be done. Its vision is "To put to end the high rate of frustration experienced by the newly admitted students of FUTO and to restore HOPE and STRENGTH for the continuity of the Aluta Struggle". Its motto is "Providing guidance at its peak". Nevertheless it has its mission statement to be "...Love one, Love All".
- Limitation Of the Community in the State: As of 2018, the Community exists only in FUTO. And it is expected to spread across Universities in Imo State come 2028. This is to say that the Executive in office in different tenures before 2028 has a mandate to make it work.
CHAPTER II
Fundamental Objectives And Directive Principle Of The Community
4. Modus Operadii (Method Of Operation): The Freshmen Community, FUTO will be highly functional during First Semesters of a new session. That is because, this is the only time the school gain new students, not just that but also to enable the Executive focus more on their studies as they are students too. Nevertheless, the President-General will be always available to attend to any Student (Freshmen) in need of help after first semester, this is to ensure that the Vision of the Community isn't condemned nor overlooked.
5. Rights And Obligation Of Members: Every member of the Community is entitled to right for help from and by the Community free of charge without any price of any form attached to it. Nevertheless, all members of the Community must see this as a voluntary help in order to avoid the abuse of the Community or/and Help.
6. Limitation Of Power: In the Community, there are Presidents/Executive representing each Faculty. This should not lead to a clash between the Presidents/Executive of such Faculties to the Community and the Presidents/Executive of such Faculties to the School. This is to maintain peace and order in the school atmosphere.
CHAPTER III
Membership (Part A)
7. Membership by Leadership: All Leaders/Executive of the Community are automatically Members of the Community.
8. Membership by Followership: From 2017-2019, All Members are allowed to join the Community Free of charge.
9. Membership by Sponsorship: All great individuals aiding the development of the Community financially and/or otherwise are automatically a Member of the Community.
10. Membership by Registration: All Members who obtained their Membership by Followership will have to pay a monthly due of N200. This law will become valid from 2020.
Qualification Of Membership (Part B)
11. Qualification For Election: All Leaders/Executive have the right to vote or be voted for. An Executive has the right to be voted for but not after 2 Tenures of Leadership (4 years).
12. Disqualification: All leaders/Executive/Leadership Aspirants are subject to disqualification for an election or Membership if their Characters are found questionable.
13. Right Of Attendance Of President-General:The President-General must be physically present in any Official meeting, if this law is broken, then the discussion/Decision made in such meeting is non and void.
CHAPTER V
Right Of Community Executive
A- The President-General Of The Community.
14. Congress: The President-General has the right to host Congresses only while in Office. Note that the President-General can only remain in Office for a maximum of 4 years.
15. Resignation: Only the President-General of the Community has the right to resign an Executive of the Community but only with the support of at least 50% of the Congressmen. Note: All Leaders/Executive make up the Congressmen.
16. Election: The President-General has the right to remain in Office without any Election but only within 4 years. After which He/She must step down.
17. Special Adviser/Personal Assistant: The President-General of the Community has the right to have a P.A of whom must be part of the Executive body.
18. Decision Making: The President-General has the right to preside in a meeting and can decide on a matter if only he has 50% house support.
B- Other Executive
19. Right To Fair-Hearing: Every Executive of the Freshmen Community, FUTO has the right to be listened to.
20. Right To Congress: All Executive has the right to attend to Congresses and must be Physically Present in all Congresses.
21. Subject To Impeachment: All Executive are subject to resignation by the President-General with the support of at least 50% of the Congressmen.
22. Decision Making: At least 50% of the Executive body must be part of any Decision Made.
23. Freedom Of Expression: Every Executive of the Community has the right to express their feelings in a modest way.
24. Right To Function: All Executive are mandated to perform their function, if not impeachment may be considered.

25. Oath Of Allegiance:
a. Oath Of The Office Of The President-General: The President-General Elect must take an official oath to carry out his/her duties efficiently.
b. Oath Of The Office Of The Presidents:The Presidents Elect must take an official oath to carry out his/her duties efficiently.
c. Oath Of Other Executive: Other Executive Elect must take an official oath to carry out his/her duties efficiently.
